This Privacy Policy explains how iBT Sports Ltd. (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use Snaptube, our video editor and photo enhancer for iPhone (the “App”). We are the controller of the information described here. Questions: contactus@ibtsports.ltd.
The short version
Your photos and videos never leave your iPhone. All editing and enhancement runs on your device. We never upload, see or store your media.
The App has no accounts. We never ask for your name, email address or phone number.
We use Google Firebase for anonymous usage statistics, crash reports and remote settings.
The free version shows ads served by Google. Ads are personalised only if you allow it in Apple’s tracking prompt and, where required, Google’s consent form.
Subscriptions are paid through Apple. We use RevenueCat to check that your subscription is active. We never see your payment details.
We do not sell your personal information.
1. Your photos and videos
On-device processing. Trimming, filters, speed changes, exports and photo enhancement all run locally, using Apple’s own media frameworks. No photo or video, and nothing derived from one, is sent to us or to any third party, including any AI service.
Photo access. The App uses Apple’s photo picker, so it only ever sees the specific items you choose. It does not get access to the rest of your library. If you save a result, the App asks for add-only access, which lets it add new items but not read your library.
Your creations are stored in the App’s private storage on your iPhone. They stay there until you delete them in the App or delete the App.
No face data. The App does not detect, recognise, analyse, collect or store faces or any face data.
2. Information collected through third-party services
The App uses the service providers below. They receive the information listed only to provide their service to us, or as described in their own privacy policies.
a) Google Analytics for Firebase: usage statistics
What: app events such as screens viewed, which features were used (for example the chosen filter, speed, export quality or enhancement level), whether an export succeeded, clip length in seconds, and paywall and purchase steps (including the product chosen). Also basic device and app information (device model, iOS version, app version, language, and approximate country or region derived from your IP address), plus an app instance identifier. If you allow tracking (section 3), this can include your device’s advertising identifier.
Never included: your photos, videos, file names or any content you create.
Why: to understand which features are used and to improve the App.
b) Firebase Crashlytics: crash reports
What: when the App crashes, a technical report containing the stack trace, device model, iOS version, app version and a Crashlytics installation identifier.
Why: to find and fix bugs.
c) Firebase Remote Config: app settings
What: a Firebase installation identifier, app version, and device language and country.
Why: to deliver settings (such as which ad placements are switched on) without an app update.
d) Advertising: Google Mobile Ads
The free version of the App shows ads through the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Ads are delivered from Google Ad Manager and managed by our advertising partner GameADzone.
What: your advertising identifier (IDFA), only if you allow tracking; the identifier for vendors (IDFV); IP address and approximate location derived from it; device and app information; and ad interactions such as impressions and taps.
Why: to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ad performance, prevent fraud and, only with your permission, show personalised ads.
Apple processes every payment. We never receive your name, card number or billing address.
RevenueCat checks whether your Snaptube Pro subscription is active and lets you restore purchases. It receives an anonymous app user ID (a random ID generated by the RevenueCat SDK, not linked to your name or email), your App Store purchase and transaction history for the App, device and app information, and your IP address.
3. Tracking, personalised ads and your choices
Apple App Tracking Transparency. On first launch, iOS asks whether the App may track you across other companies’ apps and websites. If you choose Ask App Not to Track, your advertising identifier is not available to us or Google, and ads are not personalised with cross-app data. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland. Google’s consent form asks for your choices before any personalised ads are shown. You can revisit those choices at any time in the App under Settings › About › Ad privacy options.
Remove ads entirely. A Snaptube Pro subscription removes all ads, and the App stops requesting them.
Stop all collection. Deleting the App stops all of the data collection described in this policy, and removes your creations and settings from your device.
If you allow tracking, the use of advertising data for personalised ads may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising under some US state laws. Choosing Ask App Not to Track opts you out. We do not sell personal information for money.
4. Information we do not collect
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, health data, face data, or the content of your photos and videos. The App has no sign-in and no user accounts.
5. Legal bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
Consent: personalised advertising and tracking.
Legitimate interests: usage analytics, crash reporting, fraud prevention and non-personalised ads that keep the App free.
Performance of a contract: providing and verifying a Snaptube Pro subscription you purchase.
6. How long information is kept
Creations and settings stay on your device until you delete them or the App.
Analytics: user-level analytics data is kept for no longer than 14 months.
Crash reports: kept by Crashlytics for 90 days.
Subscription records: kept by RevenueCat for as long as needed to provide your subscription, and afterwards as required for accounting and legal purposes.
We share information only with the service providers named above, when required by law, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets (in which case this policy continues to apply). These providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers are protected by safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that happened before. Because the App has no accounts, we do not hold information that identifies you by name. To make a request, email contactus@ibtsports.ltd and we will help as far as we are able to identify the data concerned. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Children
The App is not directed at children under 13, or under 16 in the EEA and UK. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
10. Security
Your media never leaves your device. Information sent to our service providers is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and protected by their security programmes. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect information.
We may update this policy when the App or the law changes. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. For material changes, we will also provide notice in the App or in the App Store release notes.
